External FotoBilder server down...

I'm posting this from a comment in a previous thread, as our FotoBilder server is currently down, and I need to get it back up again as soon as possible.

When running bin/upgrading/update-db.pl, I get the following error:

Can't connect to the database (clust#0), so I can't update it.

When running bin/checkconfig.pl, I get the following error:

[Checking for Perl Modules....]
[Checking FotoBilder Environment...]
[Checking Database...]
Problem:
* Couldn't get master database handle.

I can connect to the MySQL database through the console, no problem. I've changed by fbconfig.pl to use a socket instead of host/port, but that's not made a difference either. :o(  /bin/fotodb works fine, using the parameters within the /etc/fbconfig.pl file, so I'm sure it's not that at fault.

I've downloaded the entire CVS tree from scratch and then re-run bin/cvsreport.pl -c -s and I'm still getting the same errors as above, plus I'm now getting the following on the actual site itself:

[Error: Can't call method "selectrow_array" on an undefined value at /home/fb/lib/fotobilder.pl line 1192. ]

Is anyone able to help with this?  We've been running a server for a long time without a hitch, and now it's all gone Pete.
