I've been working on a Java client for FotoBilder. I just uploaded a couple of pictures, but the response I received for one of them was a bit odd. The body was:
Done.
OK
upicid: 25
URL: http://pics.livejournal.com/banana/pic/0000xc9k
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<TITLE>400 Bad Request</TITLE>
</HEAD><BODY>
<H1>Bad Request</H1>
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.<P>
Invalid URI in request GIF89a X?<P>
</BODY></HTML>

The picture was a gif, as the "invalid URI" message suggests. It seems to be repeatable with other gifs, but not to happen with jpegs.
